TBR Wednesdays : Library of Souls by Ransom Riggs

The third installment of one of my favorite creepy series is about to release in less than a week! Just in time for the Halloween season!

library of soulsIf you know anything of the Miss Peregrine series, you know the agonizing wait we have all been experiencing.  Library of Souls by Ransom Riggs is the third book in the series.  What is unique about the books are the amazing pictures that go along with the story.  Not only do you get to picture the peculiar children and their encounters, but you get to really see what each of the characters are like.  The pictures really help to bring a greater experience to the pages.

Here is the official synopsis of the first book, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children:

“A mysterious island. An abandoned orphanage. A strange collection of curious photographs.

A horrific family tragedy sets sixteen-year-old Jacob journeying to a remote island off the coast of Wales, where he discovers the crumbling ruins of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. As Jacob explores its abandoned bedrooms and hallways, it becomes clear that the children were more than just peculiar. They may have been dangerous. They may have been quarantined on a deserted island for good reason. And somehow—impossible though it seems—they may still be alive.

A spine-tingling fantasy illustrated with haunting vintage photography, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children will delight adults, teens, and anyone who relishes an adventure in the shadows”

I have already read the first two books, and they are highly recommended by me!  I will be rereading the series very soon since it has been so long since I have delved into the peculiar world.  I will also be posting my reviews of each as I complete them, so stay tuned!
