Owlcrate April 2016!

For the April bookish Owlcrate, we got to venture into the world of dystopia!

Without further delay here’s what was in the box: 🙂

I love how Owlcrate customizes their info cards to coordinate with the month’s theme.  It always adds a spark to every box 🙂img_2329

But if you are new to an Owlcrate, here’s a little bit about the info cards… don’t turn this card over until you have discovered all of the items in your box OR if you love spoiling yourself then go ahead and flip the surprise over.  I love to leave this until the last since it explains a little about each product and how it correlates to the book and theme.

After digging the paper-fluff out of the box, I get to see the first item.  If you’re a fan of The Hunger Games series, you will love this piece from The Geeky Cauldron.  This leather bracelet features the Mockingjay symbol to help you through the rebellion!

The next item features The Maze Runner… this decal will help you to show off your journey through the maze! This piece was specially designed by Shailey Ann Designs. Are you Property of the WCKD?

Its hard to venture through dystopian worlds without writing your ideas down. This small notebook is perfect for any notes you may need to remember later.  From the company Manuscript, you can show off George Orwell’s 1984 🙂

Wanna show off more of your Katniss pride? Slip this magnet onto your fridge from Half Blood Prints.  So cute!  *Some boxes may have received a different style magnet.  There were two possibilities to get*

Love to drink coffee or tea while you read? This cute coaster features the saying, “I spent my life folded between the pages of books.”  This comes from the small business of Evie Bookish designed from the Shatter Me series!

The final bookish item for this month features a mini poster with a quote from The Star-Touched Queen!

Now for the book of the month….

We have Flawed (Flawed #1) by Cecelia Ahern!!!!

You will be punished…

Celestine North lives a perfect life. She’s a model daughter and sister, she’s well-liked by her classmates and teachers, and she’s dating the impossibly charming Art Crevan.

But then Celestine encounters a situation where she makes an instinctive decision. She breaks a rule and now faces life-changing repercussions. She could be imprisoned. She could be branded. She could be found flawed.

In her breathtaking young adult debut, bestselling author Cecelia Ahern depicts a society where perfection is paramount and flaws lead to punishment. And where one young woman decides to take a stand that could cost her everything.
