June 2018 Owlcrate

Who’s ready for an Owlcrate unboxing?!

Here is what was inside the June 2018, Summer Lovin’ box!

The first item inside is a Michelle Gray and Owlcrate exclusive Mason Jar Mug! What I really love about this item is the lid which means I can take this on the road with me.

I am definitely a “Bookworm and Proud!”

*PSA – Owlcrate recently released a statement that this mug is used for COLD drinks only. Even though they tested the mugs for HOT drinks, there were some subscribers whose mugs did crack with HOT beverages. So if you are going to use this mug, I would recommend sticking to COLD drinks :)*

The next bookish item in the box is one that I freaked out when I saw what it was: a beach towel! Designed by: Stella Bookish Art

Recently, I took on a summer job which has coincidentally led me to be reading poolside ALOT, so this item couldn’t have come at a better time! AND can we talk about how cute this one is??

My Summer is all Booked!”

While you’re out and about in the summer heat, you may come across the perfect writing idea. Which means this pen created by BC Mini brings the perfect succulent accessory into your hands for all those jot-down moments.

Do you love apples and peaches??

Me too!! So this tea from Riddle’s Tea Shoppe not only smells AMAZING, but it also the perfect chilly combination for that new mug I just unboxed!

Now, a book may feel a little lonely without this bookmark designed by Ink and Wonder Designs. Wooden bookmarks have been my new favorite remedy for marking my pages.

Summer was a book of hope” – Benjamin Alire Saenz, Author of Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe

And finally, for the book of the month!

*drum roll please..*

From Twinkle, With Love by Sandhya Menon!

Aspiring filmmaker and wallflower Twinkle Mehra has stories she wants to tell and universes she wants to explore, if only the world would listen. So when fellow film geek Sahil Roy approaches her to direct a movie for the upcoming Summer Festival, Twinkle is all over it. The chance to publicly showcase her voice as a director? Dream come true. The fact that it gets her closer to her longtime crush, Neil Roy—a.k.a. Sahil’s twin brother? Dream come true x 2.

When mystery man “N” begins emailing her, Twinkle is sure it’s Neil, finally ready to begin their happily-ever-after. The only slightly inconvenient problem is that, in the course of movie-making, she’s fallen madly in love with the irresistibly adorkable Sahil.

Twinkle soon realizes that resistance is futile: The romance she’s got is not the one she’s scripted. But will it be enough?

Told through the letters Twinkle writes to her favorite female filmmakers, From Twinkle, with Love navigates big truths about friendship, family, and the unexpected places love can find you.
