Even though this book is part of a novella series, please note that it can be read as a standalone. I have only read this story, and I believe it did not hinder myself from enjoying my reading experience.

If you love a super quick vampire love story, this is it! There are all sorts of sweet, gentle moments along with the more steamy scenes.

I loved the instant connection the main characters had with each other. It felt protective without being too overbearing.

I gave this book 3 out of 5 stars. Since it is a shorter novel, there isn’t as much development as I would have liked, but it definitely hit all the elements for an entertaining romance.

If you happen to be in a reading slump and need a quick out, this book would be a perfect one to pick up! You’ll finish in a matter of a few hours AND get a taste of a handsome vampire.

If you love the elements found in A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness, I think you’ll really enjoy Forever Chosen!
