Right off the bat, we hit some steamy writing, and it only gets better from there!

We meet the two main characters, the steamy male veterinary doctor and his business partner’s gorgeous daughter. For years, the two have wanted to get together but her father’s position with his partner leaves her off-limits.

But when the opportunity to take over the business becomes a possibility, maybe it’s finally time they get what they wished for??

Aside from the off-limits romance, there is a hint of “the one that got away” all those years ago. There are a few twists that further complicate their potential relationship, but their connection may have a stronger pull than they thought.

This was a steamy romance that was quick and easy to read. It left your heart-strings pulled, leaving you wanting more.

There were a few typical romance tropes that felt a little cheesy, but I feel like the intense passion the couple had with each other overpowered it.

I also loved how this book was mostly told from his POV with just snapshots of her perspective. I think it gave the book more of the romantic strive that we love reading.

I gave this book 4 out of 5 stars. I highly recommend this one if you love fiesty, passionate connection between the couple. The off-limits trope gives it that extra kick making this a fun weekend read!
