This book absolutely blew me away!

I didn’t expect much going into this story, but I can’t begin to explain just how captivating this plot was.

It’s more than your typical romance. The background between the main female character leaves mystery and suspense that I couldn’t help but continue reading until I knew what was going on. Some parts of the plot I could figure out rather quickly, but it was watching it all unfold and the finer details that made me continue to read.

When it comes to the romance, I really loved the development we get to see. This story really pulled at my heart, leaving me with all the feels (and this isn’t a tear-jerker by any means, so you don’t need to bring the tissues). I just couldn’t help but swoon over the hero as he tries his hardest to get past her walls.

The characters in this book will make you laugh and fill you with anger. There is a trigger warning for domestic abuse, so please be careful going into this book because it may bring up feelings.

But the writing just brought the characters to life, and I absolutely loved every minute of it.

The ending completely took me by surprise (in a very good way). This isn’t your typical, easy-going romance. It left me wanting SOOO much more from this scenario while also providing a satisfactory ending.

If you love the Vegas scene and just an overall well-written, deep romance, this book comes highly recommended. I gave this one 5 out of 5 stars.

And when I saw who the next steam-worthy hero in this series is going to be, my jaw dropped!
