Steam? Check. Angsty Chemistry? Double Check.

Right away, this book hooked me in and didn’t let me go through all the heated scenes. We follow a girl who works as a sexy phone worker and accidentally leaves a voicemail for her coworker.

And from there, we are thrown into a dramatic, somewhat-awkward love story.

This is a part of a series, but can be read as a standalone. I think that if I were to have read the other books, I would have had a better idea of some of the side characters, but I don’t think it hindered my enjoyment and overall understanding of the story.

I gave this one a 4 out of 5 stars. It was a relatively fast-paced with tons of attraction. I recommend this one for romance readers who love equal parts heat and drama.
