First off, please know this series may not be for everyone. If you aren’t a fan of raw, mature erotica, this book may not be to your taste. Especially in this sequel, this is a super steamy, angsty writing style.

With that being said, this is a series that you have to read in order. In the first book, A Lesson in Thorns, we are introduced to a cast of characters who become romantically intertwined with a wide range of orientations.

In this sequel, the story picks up right where the first left off, except with different POVs. This time, we get to explore more of the characters and their most intimate thoughts.

I gave this sequel 3 out of 5 stars (and Book One 4 out of 5 stars). There’s something magical about the writing style that completely transforms you into an almost enchanted world.

I recommend this one only to readers who love very angsty erotica as this writing style may not be for every romance lover.
