“A sexy category romance from Entangled’s Brazen imprint…
His rival’s in his bed, and this rocker is ready to play.
Former rivals Quinn Bradford and Elise McKinney are notfriends, at least not anymore. As teens, all they cared about was psyching each other out before concerts. But when Quinn—now the keyboardist for Shaken Dirty, the hottest rock band on the scene—returns to his hometown and hears about the car accident that shattered Elise’s career, he’s determined to make things right.
Elise wants nothing to do with an arrogant rock star, despite how bad she so clearly wants him, so Quinn kidnaps the stubborn little piano player and whisks her back to his mansion. A little seduction might be just the thing to keep Elise under his care…and in his bed. But amid pranks both childish and veryadult, their past comes rearing back to haunt them. And it might be more than either of them can forget.”

How I Read It: eARC from NetGalley
*Disclaimer: I requested a free copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All my reviews contain my honest opinions only and are not influenced in any way*
This story didn’t necessarily blow me away, but it was a decent, second-chance romance.
I’m not a huge fan of rockstar tropes, but the synopsis felt steamy enough to give it a shot, and the scenes didn’t disappoint. And to be honest, they were what drove me to finish the book.
I wasn’t a huge fan of the plot as it seemed to be more clique than I like to read. The connection was angsty and full of dramatic moments, but it just wasn’t something that I felt fully connected with the characters.
I gave this one a lower-ended 3 out of 5 stars.
