This is a hot and cold story. The steam is hot but the characters are quite cold.

I think if you like reading suspenseful romances with a more unlikeable male character, this would be a great one to dive into.

As you can probably tell, I wasn’t a huge fan of him, BUT I’m sure that’s what the author wants us to feel. He’s written in a very up and down way where at the end, you’re not sure if you’re for or against him.

Other than that, it was an enjoyable read. I gave this one 3 out of 5 stars, and it’ll be interesting to see where the next book takes us!
