In this sequel, we follow the famous mermaid instead of the villain. And the fun continues in another epic, well-written story.

I did like the first book better than this one. I felt more of a connection to the characters and the plot in general.

This one features a girl trying to save her twin from her own, mindless heart. She knows there’s something wrong and tries her best to stop for fate from happening.

There are tons of twists and turns that surprised me throughout the book. It’s a love-story gone wrong with a quest to reverse the curse.

I gave this one 4 out of 5 stars and recommend the series as a whole for YA Retelling lovers!
