A Snowflake Wish by Renee Harless is an Adult Holiday Romance with a unique twist!
*Disclaimer: This book contains mature content and may not be suitable for younger readers*
“If there was one thing January Douglas disliked more than spilling coffee on her favorite blouse, it was Christmas. Despite her family’s love of the holiday, she was a self-proclaimed Scrooge. The songs, the decorations, and the forced cheer – they were all nails scratching down a chalkboard to her.
When Deckard Spruce barged into her life with his Christmas enthusiasm and a smirk that made January weak in the knees, she’d had enough.
One wish on a snowflake was all it took to change everything, but as soon as the damage was done, she knew her hate for the holidays had gone too far.
Could Deckard help her realize that she might not hate Christmas after all?
Maybe one more wish would make everything right.”
This holiday romance is so unique.
We meet a scrooge (in a way) who hates everything about Christmas from the decorations to the get-togethers to the gifts.
But she can’t leave her parents’ gift behind, so she treks to the local Christmas store to help find the perfect, quick present to give them. There, she meets the man who will change it all, and a mysterious ornament shows up with magic that I’ve never read before.
That’s when the story switches into a dream-like twist I never saw coming!
I gave this one 4 out of 5 stars. If you’re looking for a cozy holiday read but with a twist you can’t see coming, pick this one up!

“Renee Harless is a romance writer with an affinity for wine and a passion for telling a good story.
Renee Harless, her husband, and children live in Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. She studied Communication, specifically Public Relations, at Radford University.
Growing up, Renee always found a way to pursue her creativity. It began by watching endless runs of White Christmas- yes even in the summer – and learning every word and dance from the movie. She could still sing “Sister Sister” if requested. In high school she joined the show choir and a community theatre group, The Troubadours. After marrying the man of her dreams and moving from her hometown she sought out a different artistic outlet – writing.
To say that Renee is a romance addict would be an understatement. When she isn’t chasing her toddler or preschooler around the house, working her day job, or writing, she jumps head first into a romance novel.”
