I really enjoyed this one! Lately, I’ve been into more of the thriller/mystery/suspense genres, and this romantic spin was right on point!
We meet a main character on the run from a dangerous, mob situation leaving her in the custody of the US Marshals. But when things begin to happen right before the trial, her heart may not be on the run like the rest of her soul..
There is a ton of suspense in the plot, not necessarily the romance which was easily identified and a bit predictable. But overall, I flew through this ones and highly recommend everything from the sweet, protective romance over the harsher, darker past she wants to run from.
A definite 5 out of 5 star read!
