We follow two characters who have a history, but when she returns from college looking to make a some money, the man she despises doesn’t recognize her, and from there, the fire is rekindled. And just wait til you read what the other kicker is..

I wasn’t a huge fan of our heroine, but when it came to him and his feelings for her, I was all for it!

This is one of those plots that took me quite a chunk to really become invested. Like I said, I wasn’t a fan of hers at all, but I’m glad I stuck it out because that ending made up for it all!

A 3 out of 5 star book for me!
