This book seems to have a little bit of everything from the second chances, to the military hero, to a best friend’s brother, and finally to the happily ever after.

It’s a story full of hidden truths, scarred pasts, and forbidden futures. The writing didn’t stand out too much for me, but I enjoyed reading their circumstances and the characters were exactly what I was looking for giving this one a 3 out of 5 stars.
