This book is 100% a genre-hopping, finger-gripping story that will just drag you into a harsh, raw, world of a struggling author. 

When I first picked this one up, the vibes gave off a suspenseful, somewhat-horror, dark and twisted world that slowly meshed into a steamy, MC romance that I was not expecting. It had a little bit of everything, and I can honestly say that I could NOT put it down! 

I will say that there are triggers for mental health as the main character struggles heavily with depression and dark thoughts. 

If you aren’t a fan of a wounded, morbid writing style, I recommend that you set this one aside. But if you are all for it with a hint of serial killers on the side, this book is right up your alley!

I gave this one a 4 out of 5 stars. This is a novel I recommend going into completely blind as each page gives off the perfect thrilling twist, leaving you flipping the pages to see what could possibly happen next!
