While the beginning felt a little slow paced, I ended up liking their relationship in the end. It had that man-crush feeling at first which blossomed into this dark, intense connection. There was even a little mob-suspense thrown in that helped to pick up the pace a chunk of the way through the book.

Overall, it was an enjoyable read leading me to give it a 3 out of 5 stars.
